About Us

More Than a League. A Brotherhood on Ice.

Linden Chills started with a simple idea: get a bunch of dads together, learn to curl, and build something worth showing up for every week.

Our Story

It started in 2024 when a group of dads in the Linden neighborhood realized they needed something more than weekend errands and youth sports sidelines. Someone suggested curling. Most of us laughed. Then we tried it.

What began as eight guys slipping around on ice has grown into a proper league with eight teams, a full season schedule, and a playoff bracket that gets genuinely intense. We curl hard, we trash-talk harder, and we always make time for the post-game hang.

The Linden Chills is proof that it's never too late to pick up a new sport, build new friendships, and carve out a night that's just for you.

What We're About

Competition

We take the game seriously. From strategy calls to clutch draws, every end matters.

Community

Dads, brothers, friends. This league is built on the bonds formed between the sheets and after the buzzer.

Camaraderie

The best conversations happen in the lounge after a hard-fought game. Winners buy the first round.

Consistency

16 weeks of regular season play, Monday and Wednesday evenings. Something to look forward to every week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need curling experience to join?

Not at all. We welcome all skill levels. Many of our members had never thrown a stone before joining. We offer a learn-to-curl session at the start of each season.

How are teams formed?

Teams are drafted at the beginning of each season to keep things competitive and balanced. We shuffle teams each season so you get to play with different people.

What does it cost?

Season dues cover ice time, equipment, and league administration. Exact fees are announced before each season. Post-game beverages are on you.

Is this really just for dads?

The 'dads club' is more of a vibe than a requirement. If you're a guy who appreciates good curling, cold drinks, and even worse jokes, you'll fit right in.

What equipment do I need?

Clean-soled shoes and warm layers to start. The club provides stones, brooms, and sliders. Many members invest in their own gear over time.

Ready to Hit the Ice?

New members are welcome at the start of each season. Get in touch and we'll get you set up for the next draft.
